Heart of inmost gives shorter cooldowns then Hallowfire, it gives damage buffs, it’s not subclass dependent, and you don’t need to sleep on your super to get benefits. I’ve run both, hallow fire is a JOKE in comparison. Non bash AoE melee abilities are as follows: mid tree Striker, mid tree Sentinel and bottom tree Sunbreaker Non bash, single target melee abilities are as follows: bottom tree Striker, top tree Sentinel, and mid tree Sunbreaker Non Bash AoE Melee = 10% aoe damage increase ? Non Bash Single Target Melee = 120% damage increase !! Shoulder Bash Melee = 30% damage increase It doesn't take advantage of the bonus damage in between but it is efficient in being able to consistently use all three abilities in rotationĮxample: Grenade -> Barricade and wait 10 sec -> Melee and wait 10 sec -> Grenade is ready again and should have a few seconds to take advantage of the melee's empower buffĭamage: Upon closer inspection, the Empower buff doesn't give a flat percentage increase in damage/health across all three abilities and instead has specific values for what is being usedīarricade = 40% increase in health, duration time unchanged If you were to use one ability and wait for the buff to run out before using a 2nd ability, you can fully charge the 3rd ability in under 20 seconds.

Fist of Havoc with Death from Above, Headstrong and cooldown reduction on Stormfist creates a class like no other.Cooldowns: For the duration of Empower, it will give about a 55% charge to each ability affected. Obviously the easy availability at the start of the season makes it a good choice to get light level up.
I would consider this close to a best in class exotic armor. The helmet has strength, situationally bad in high level pve (IMO).Ĭonclusion - There are not a ton of good options for Striker exotics. However, the cooldown is immense and since this helm has strength you will have a hard time maxing cooldown reduction.

It is however great for taking off targets from a distance and landing head shot bursts due to low recoil and good range. I think overall dps is significantly lower than legendary auto rifles (the good ones). I assume you will not be getting a lot of kills in a row at higher levels but overtime it is probably the equivalent of 30-50 discipline.Ĭonclusion - This is a very capable pulse rifle. Grenade refresh does actually make a difference. You can definately get a nice precision burst but you wont be able to empty a whole mag into a big target or a boss. Impact + Fire rate is below top legendary assault rifles. This weapon does not have full auto - but if you are looking for a pulse rifle this is typically not that much of a concern and doesnt really affect dps I would not buy this weapon, but if you get it as a drop it is definitely good enough to last until you find something perfect. This is a legendary pulse rifle which I obtained from an engram.
